Cornershop Confessions

29 May – 02 June, 2007

Production Image

Cornershop Confessions follows the life of Vijay, a budding DJ who spends his life trying to break away from his father's store and make it into the world as a DJ. Porshatom, Vijay's father, struggles with a future of having to run the shop on his own with no one to carry on the legacy he worked so hard to build up.

Vijay is your average New Zealand born Kiwi, who is brought up the Kiwi way with the dreams and aspirations of any regular kid. No longer a kid, Vijay lives at home, trying to escape the family business to follow his own dream. With a grandmother who can't speak English, an unmarried sister and subservient mother, this show is funny with heart to boot. Tarun's return follows his success with D'arranged Marriage and From India with Love.

Strictly limited season from May 29 - June 2, 2007.
