DANIELLE MASON

A 2002 graduate of Toi Whakaari:New Zealand Drama School, Danielle also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Waikato University. Since completing her studies Danielle has performed widely for stage, screen, and radio.
In 2004 she won Chapman Tripp Theatre Awards for Best Female Newcomer in Collected Stories directed by Miranda Harcourt, and Most Outstanding Performance in The Shape of Things directed by Ross Jolly (both at Circa Theatre)
Other stage credits include Private Lives, Fond Love and Kisses, An Inspector Calls, The Remedy Syndrome, Finding Willy, Lulu, Dinner, Hitchcock Blonde, Dracula, Uncle Vanya, Finding Murdoch, The Winslow Boy, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rabbit, Love Song, Some Girls, Red Riding Hood and Betrayal.
Danielle appears as the lead female role in the NZ feature film Black Sheep.
She is excited to be back at the Fortune Theatre for her third time performing in My First Time.

JACQUE DREW

Jacque is an award-winning actor, recognized in the U.S. and New Zealand for her work. She was a founding member of the Tygres Heart Shakespeare Company (Portland Oregon) and served as an actor, artistic director, and educational coordinator for the company, garnering accolades (Oregon Education Association’s Outstanding Educator Award) for her lectures and touring shows based on Shakespeare’s greatest works. She has appeared in dozens of stage productions in Portland (where she received the local Drammy award for her performance in Sam Shepherd’s Buried Child), and has also worked on stage in Alaska, Idaho, California, Utah, Washington, Massachusetts, Hawaii and New Zealand.
Since arriving in New Zealand five years ago Jacque has appeared at the Silo Theatre The Women, Suddenly Last Summer, Some Girls; at the Auckland Theatre Company , 12th Night, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof; and has produced her own work in Wellington, Danny & the Deep Blue Sea for which she received a Chapman/Tripp acting award.
TV viewers may recognize her as Shortland Street’s Martha Riley and for guest roles in Interrogation and Doves of War, Legend of the Seeker and the upcoming season of The Jaquie Brown Diaries.
Jacque is a trained voice and dialect coach and has served as a US accent coach for Silo Theatre, Auckland Theatre Company; the feature films Bridge to Terabithia, The Ferryman, Johnny Kapahala and Laundry Warrior; and at the country’s major drama schools – Toi Whaakari: New Zealand Drama School and Unitec School of Performing and Screen Arts.
Jacque received her training at the University of Portland (Portland, OR), The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (London, England) and Shakespeare and Company (Lenox, MA). She is a proud member of New Zealand Actor’s Equity. Jacque has recently moved to Auckland from Portland, Oregon, USA, where she has worked as an award-winning actor, educator, writer and producer for over 20 years.

ROY SNOW

Roy has acted in feature film, Raising Waylon and numerous short films including; Splatter and Only Barmen Speak in Tongues. For television he has been in shows: Xena Warrior Princess, in lead role of Dach and as a guest role of the Athenian Captain. He enjoyed time as core cast 2000 – 2003 in Shortland Street as Matt McAlister with many other television roles including Lawrence in Outrageous Fortune. He has been in seven main bill stage productions in Auckland including: Hair as Claude, Middle Aged Spread as Robert, Ladies Night as Barry all for the Auckland Theatre Company. And at Silo Theatre, Some Girls and This is How it Goes. Roy is also an accomplished singer with musical theatre productions: The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Cabaret, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables.

KRISTIAN LAVERCOMBE

Kristian’s played leading roles in over 30 professional productions. Highlights include: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Auckland Theatre Company), Urinetown (Downstage Theatre), The Rocky Horror Show (Court Theatre), and ‘Puck’ in Midsummer Night’s Dream (Christchurch Arts Festival).
Other notable shows include: Hamlet, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Oliver!, Lady Windermere’s Fan, Amy’s View, The Cripple of Inishmaan, The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged), Skylight, Antony and Cleopatra, Alice, Caesar and Cleopatra, Mother Courage, The Queen and I (Court Theatre), The Deadly Night Show (Festival of Poisonous Plants), Hushabye Mountain (Auckland International Comedy Festival), Amadeus (Theatre Alive), Copacabana (Showbiz Christchurch), The Fantasticks (CAN Theatre), Sinbad (The Actors Company), and Sub-Urb (Christchurch Performance Trust). Kristian co-wrote, directed and designed Matariki – Fire & Ice (Venture Southland) and in 2010 will tour four centres with the NZSO in a new collaborative work Sonnets Unplugged devised with Rima Te Wiata and Gareth Farr.
