The Fortune is an excellent place for young people to learn and explore the theatre. We provide a range of options for schools as EOTC experiences. Come and experience a tour around the theatre, join our ambassador programme, take part in our forum debates, talk to the cast and crew of a production or book a drama workshop. Our education workshops are show specific and are designed to link to a range of subjects within the New Zealand Curriculum and to NCEA achievement standards. Inquiries are always welcome.
Further information about selected plays can be found in our school resource guides. We currently have a guide for Peninsula, Jumpy and The Caretaker.
Forums provide students with an opportunity to hear from the cast and crew of each production. The students are able to ask questions and discuss the themes presented. The forums are open to students, Drama Ambassadors, invited guests and the public. The forum is held on the first Tuesday evening of the season. To register for this great chance to gain insight into the play contact us.
